Ya Quddus, Ya Salaam (O Holiness, O Source of Peace)
These two words occur in proximity to each other in the Holy Quran. It is possible to silently breathe in Ya Quddus, and breathe out Ya Salaam. Each human being can receive the support of this Holiness and radiate this Peace. In doing this consciously we can develop our connection to Divine Being.The connection to the Purity of Al Quddus can result in the Presence of Peace.
The nuclear "tests" recently conducted in India and Pakistan are continuing
signs of the fear and darkness that runs through our human souls. We human
beings can take our responsibility for being the reflectors of the Divine
Names. It is inherent in the "secret" of our human nature since the time
when God taught Adam the Divine Names. The responsibility remains with
us to consciously become emanations of that Holiness and Peace.
